lost! I have downloaded vista twice. the first time I had to download audio drivers. No problem except for the sound on ff IV. Souned as if it was chewing gum, but the second download, clean install, the program will not allow the drivers for audio to be installed. After six tries and repeated error messages I am going to bed. I really like vista's set-up and looks and I understand that this is a beta, but even a beta should'nt have these types of problems. I am quite happy with vista but someone please assist me with this issue. -- ajabell

no audio
Hi there, having a problem with my AC97 audio. I am getting the error code:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
I have installed the realtec audio drivers, but still having the same probem.
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance
Peter
I had the same problem to, when I installed the windows vista drivers they did not work. If your using the 64 bit version try downloading and installing the windows XP driver here http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/dlac97-2.aspx?lineid=5&famid=12&series=8&Software=True , it worked for me.
